Hello everyone,
Just happy to be a part of this forum.
I have a contemporary christian group.
We are trying to complete our first CD,
which has been hard. Does anyone know how I could get my music heard by a record producer? |

| I can't help you find one, but here's an interesting resource to help understand what one should do for you. I found a book called The Encylopedia of Record Producers, by Olsen, Verna, and Wolff at my local city library. The majority of the book is a collection of interviews and bios of producers since WWII that have made significant contributions to the craft. But what I think might interest you is a short segment at the beginning called A Personal View, written by Rupert Hine. |

Hi Cindi,
I read a book awhile back that I found to be very informative. It teaches you how to effectively market yourself and the scams to avoid. Here's the info on it:
Ruthless Self-Promotion in the Music Industry
Jeffrey P. Fisher, Sally Englefried (Editor) / Paperback / Hal Leonard Pub. / November 1998
