| Hi! my name is Manolo and I am a Drummer. My wife sings and she does it very well. We currently live in Indianapolis, but we are originally from Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. We want to make a Contemporary Christian Music CD with the style of Jaci Velazquez, but we feel that Indiana is not the proper place to do it. We are thinking about moving to California and realize our dream down there. However, we do not have any idea if the contemporary christian music has a good following down there. We have been told that Nashville, TN is the best place for christian music. Can anybody tell me if California is a good place to start? How much money does an independent artist needs to put together a decent production in California? |

California is a great place for music in general, but I'd bet someplace in the Bible belt would have more perks. The Chrisitan concerts down here pack 'em in that's for sure. We have a good long outdoor concert season...
Road Records is owned by a buddy, look them up and inquire, I am sure he can do you right or steer you in the right direction if he can't. Here's the link: http://www.roadrecords.com/indexnew.shtml |
